Beautiful trumpet playing from Maurice – sadly missed…
…oh, yes… it’s called ‘The Sunshine of your Smile’ and the accompanying brass band is The Leyland Daf Band, conducted by Richard Evans with Philip McCann on Principal Cornet taken from an album called The Lighter Side of Maurice Murphy. I, myself am a former member of the band, as was my father. My brother is also playing percussion on this recording.
