A little bit of advance news for all. The Royal Liverpool have three more concerts, and four rehearsals, this week before four free days, whilst our tour lorry (containing all the instruments, concert clothing etc) makes the trip over land to the far end of Spain.
ROYAL LIVERPOOL PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA
The RLPO Spanish Tour 2012 will begin next Friday 19th October, when the orchestra, Chief Conductor VasilyPetrenko and piano soloist Joaquin Achucarro all fly out to be reunited with our instruments. The tour will consist of Alicante (Friday 19th October), San Sebastian (Saturday 20th October), Pamplona (Sunday 21st October) and Zaragoza (Monday 22nd October).

Shostakovich Symphony no. 10
We fly back to Liverpool on the Tuesday.
