I took the opportunity to clear the ‘Urban Jungle’ to make way for this year’s ‘Urban Farm.’ Cleared and replanted all the strawberry beds, so they will spread again for next year. New potato produce ‘chitting’ already. I always grow potatoes in containers (see previous article). This year’s varieties will be Charlotte, Rooster, Nicola and Anya. I’m a big enthusiast for the waxy, salad type of potato. The Rooster is my preferred ‘roaster.’
