Urban Farm 2013-14

I’m just getting the plot ready for this year’s farming. I’ve prepared all the soil in the pots, containers and the ‘bed.’ So far I’ve seeded the runner beans, french beans and climbing peas. Planted some nasturtiums, to avoid the caterpillar problems of last year. Got plenty of tomato plants in the greenhouse, seeded plenty of courgette plants. I dug up and separated all the strawberry plants and replanted them in the bed and hanging baskets and planted some chard: placed the seed potatoes in the large pots. I’ve also planted plenty of new flora to encourage plenty of bees. I have red chillies already, just had two with my dinner. Just a matter of waiting and occasional weeding for now…

Obviously, I didn't grow this chilli!
