New Study Finds Playing Violin Sheds 2 Glasses of Wine per Hour

A recent study conducted by caloriecount.com has found that on average 1 hour of violin playing burns approximately 175 calories – the equivalent of 1/2 a Snickers Bar or 2 glasses of wine.
Playing the cello for the same length of time sheds approximately 140.
Drums and trombone provide the highest musical cardiovascular workout – at around 280 and 245 calories per hour.
