Somewhere nice to sit in the garden…

We have been sadly lacking a nice place to sit and enjoy our garden. Someone gave me a bench sometime ago, because the wood was all rotten and it was ‘no longer safe to sit on’. I ripped off all the old wood, bought some tanalised 2×1 roofing batton and re-fitted the two steel side pieces and the rather nice steel lattice centre piece in exactly the same way as the bench was previously constructed. I then used some fence/shed stain and waterproofer, which I had already and some rust cure metal paint which was doing nothing in a tin within the garden shed.

Not bad eh?
