RLPO – Cosi Fan Tutte…

As advertised in the previous post, see below, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra has been out and about, playing in more diverse places than usual, whilst Liverpool Philharmonic Hall undergoes a multi-million pound refurbishment. The performances are conducted by Laurent Pillot.

We are currently in the middle of a run of Mozart’s timeless opera Cosi Fan Tutte. Performances are taking place in the Concert Room of St. George’s Hall. I can’t think of a more splendidly opulent setting.

The opening performance, last night, received a standing ovation from the enthusiastic audience, which included local hero Ricky Tomlinson.
