Urban Farm 2014 – 11th July – latest…

Things really are in full swing in my garden right now. We are starting to harvest quite a few things. The French beans have appeared now and will soon be big enough to pick.

My extensive crop of Italian plum San Marzano tomatoes are looking like giving me a fine harvest soon. This particular tomato is said by many to be the best tasting of all cooking tomatoes.

My climbing pea harvest is continuing apace and shows no sign of abating whatsoever. They are already the full height of my greenhouse, as are my Moneymaker tomatoes.

I am keeping a watchful eye on my cucumber ‘population’ as I haven’t grown cucumbers before. This all female variety is producing loads!
