My blogposts for the RLPO Japan Tour 2015 have proven surprisingly popular. It just goes to show the current marketing power of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Chief Conductor Vasily Petrenko and star piano soloist Nobuyuki Tsujii; both individually but especially when all forces are joined together.
Due to the constraints of time and the fact that I am away in Japan for a further two weeks I won’t be able to tidy up/correct the site much before returning to the UK.
Hopefully this page will make it easy for all to navigate between the days the orchestra has spent in Japan…
DAY 1 – Arrival & Free Day in TOKYO
DAY 2 – Concert no. 1 – SAITAMA
DAY 3 – Concert n0. 2 – YOKOHAMA
DAY 7 – RLPO Play TOKYO no.1 – Concert no. 5
DAY 8 – RLPO Play TOKYO no.2 – Concert no. 6
DAY 9 – Concert no. 7 – NAGOYA
DAY 10 – Concert no. 8 – FUKUOKA
Thanks for the comprehensive round-up Brendan!
Maestro Brendan — hope your honeymoon in Japan went well!! Thanks again for the blog post about your adventure in Japan. Please keep it around for a while for the enjoyment of us Nobuyuki Tsujii fans. And I hope the new trumpet that you bought in Tokyo has worked out well.
Hi! Thanks for the nice comments and for showing an interest in my blog. I will be delighted to keep the posts about Japan on there. We had a wonderful holiday after the tour and the Japanese trumpet is fantastic.
